Welcome to Haddo House

Crisp Georgian architecture, sumptuous Victorian interiors and enchanting terraced gardens set amidst 80 hectares of glorious Aberdeenshire countryside make this an ideal venue for weddings, corporate events and private parties.

Within Haddo House, the Library and Drawing Room can host civil, religious and humanist weddings, whilst the beautiful chapel in the grounds is available for religious ceremonies of all Christian denominations. The elegant interconnecting public rooms are ideal for drinks receptions, allowing guests to relax, mingle and enjoy the surroundings before dinner.

From the House, a short stroll through the grounds leads to the Canadian Hall for ceilidhs, dancing and the evening's festivities. Inspired by Lord & Lady Aberdeen's first trip to Canada in 1890, the Hall is also available for dinners, receptions and parties.

Designed by Scottish architect William Adam in 1732, Haddo House near Aberdeen is a magnificent example of an historic Scottish stately home. Originally Palladian in style, the house now has late Victorian interiors after a 19th-century refurbishment and is renowned for its stunning decorated ceilings.
